Viji and Mohan are love birds working in a printing press .Mohan goes to jail while trying to save Viji from the villian . Later when viji needs money , she falls prey to Satyaraj . She is saved and he is sent to jail She marries the head man who saved her later . Viji starts leading a happy comfortable life . Mohan and Satyaraj run away from jail as fugitives and find shelter in the same village . Mohan attracts all young girls there including Rajini for his good looks . He meets Viji who tells him its better he marries Rajini as she loves him . Mohan is not very keen as he is dillusioned . In the end when again Viji is in trouble with Satyaraj , Mohan tries tos ave her with Rajini's help. Both Rajini and Mohan later go to jail for killing him. Y Vijaya , Gounda mani and Senthil provide required comedy and side tracks .
